VILLA MIR, PEACE AMONG THE TREES AND YOUR OWN BOAT FOR SEA TRIPS
Villa Mir
Villa Mir is in a peaceful village called Veliki Zaton, in the western side of Zaton bay. It's about 9 km from the center of Dubrovnik (15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus).
A hundred meter road surrounded by trees takes you to the main road that connects Dubrovnik to the rest of Croatia.
That makes it easy to come and go quickly, and it's also distant enough to ensure perfect quiet and freedom from any street noises.
The house itself is also surrounded by trees and has a spectacular view of Zaton Bay and the surrounding hills.

At the same time, supermarket, bakery, local food shops and a bus station are all very close, within a few hundred meters.
And the sea, of course, is also very near, a three minute walk under the shadow of the pines.
The Villa has 10 rooms, half of them with individual bathroom and 3 kitchens, one professional, fully equiped and 2 regular.

On hot summer days, a good place to relax is the covered terrace on the first floor. There you can enjoy a snack or a drink in the shadow with the chirping of birds in the background.

And speaking of birds you will find quite a few of them around the house. This is a lifelong hobby of the owner which all visitors notice and remember.
Villa Mir is also a great place to have your regular meals; it's convenient, comfortable and quiet while restaurants, especially in summer, are often crowded and noisy.
Mr. Hančević, the owner, has a 10 meter motor boat and you can make arrangements with him to go for excursions and to visit nearby islands. You can plan with him different kind of boat trips. A cruise along the coast, a visit to an island, a trip to a diving spot or a "secret" beach...

Mr. Hančević also has a van for picking up people and groups at the airport or at the bus station. In most cases this will be a free service that you will get when making your reservation.
As you can see, Villa Mir is much more than a nice place to sleep, you can think of it as your base camp for an unforgettable holiday!
